i absolutely adore this art style
I’ve shared a bunch of Jucika strips here:
https://piefed.social/post/1258520I have many more coming up, as long as you understand that “Jucika” is also a Hungarian / Magyar heroine to me. I.e. she puts lecherous doofuses in their places. Something a bit for the times, eh?
That’s awesome! Finding old comics like this is so entertaining to me.
Excellent!
Could you share one of your other favorites, perhaps?Sure! The first that comes to mind is this one where she’s a stewardess and adapting to the clientele in each country. I was confused at first, thinking “Oh, she has a beaker on her head, so it’s saying that in Budapest they appreciate brains!” but after looking it up, I think it’s supposed to be wine, lol.

Interesting!
As a kid who’s been to Budapest, and Lake Balaton, I’d be fascinated to know what that’s all about.Thank you! <3
Make a Don Quixote bot instead. It’ll try to fight a windmill.

Of course there’s a relevant XKCD 😆
Obviously. There always is.
This one almost never comes up, but it’s my favorite.
Toss in a mango and a child rapist, and you’ve got Trump!
Lol Don Juan…
Edit : do you have a source for this? Curious about the year and country it was made. It’s got a nice style
I’ve been seeing this comic making rounds on various social media recently and also like the style. It’s called Jucika and was a Hungarian comic from 1957-1970. I have a bunch saved in my “for Lemmy” folder on my phone now, so I’ll be posting more of them.
Most of them seem to be drawn without captions/dialogue, so the jokes translate well.
Amazing, thanks
