I mean, they got no idea how a tablesaw looks or works, but I support it nonetheless.
More importantly they know how a guillotine looks and works.
How does the blade stay up if the string is all the way up there though? Do they have a locking mechanism to hold the blade in place? I always thought someone, or something, held the rope so the blade didn’t fall.
I’d put multiple locking mechanisms in. You definitely don’t want a single point of failure with machines that are designed to dismember people.
That is a much more sensible approach to building guillotines than my idea of adding rocket boosters to speed up the blade.
Good PPE use though at least
Absolutely no lie, I’m currently doing this very thing. I’ve been trying to create a video woodworking tutorial on it.
And then you’re back to the social media, just on the other side
I was only going to share it on Peertube. If it’s decentralized no one is going to see it (just kidding, kinda)
I know, I have the same problem after leaving Reddit. I used to get reviews, and users for my programs when I shared it there. In lemmy I rarely get views
It’s smaller but more precious. Much more like an actual community. I would love others to discover how great it is but I don’t want it to change too much either.

Just needs a little sign with “Insert billionaire head here” written on it.
That’s too limiting. Should put hectomillionaires and the trillionaire in there too
The more the merrier.
Look all I’m saying is: build drones.
Fire drones. That what the French are missing.
Don’t woodwork while angry.
I mean, that’s my job 🤷🏻
To be angry?
NO!
(that’ll be $1.25 please)
Post online, demonstrate capabilities on the people arguing about sharpening methodology.
Looks fun tbf
And not a single head has rolled or rich person eaten…
It’s all about making comics.
