Rae: “JD, how did you become the Jersey Devil?”
JD: “Well, I used to work in h-e-double-hockey-sticks. But then I got demoted. And they sent me somewhere worse.”
It’s funny because people who have never been to New Jersey aside from like an airport or maybe the Secaucus train station will shit on it. Meanwhile, they’re from like bottom-of-the-barrel Mississippi or something.
I dunno, I’ve always felt negatively about, like, unoriginal things people just repeat to feel like part of the group.
Fucking Ohioans from Cleveland will do this.
I have it on good authority, be it a bit dated of a source, that Cleveland rocks.
Recently went on a business trip to Cleveland. It does not, in fact, rock. I just felt… meh? That’s the best word I can use.
