I’m not apolitical, but I also don’t believe there’s a career politician out there that actually cares about any of the issues that seem like a big deal to me. The ball players on your favorite baseball team do not care about your team getting to the playoffs – they care about their personal stats for leverage during contract negotiations when trade deadlines come around. Do not expect them to always dive for the ball.
