    I can’t really say this comic is funny if it’s just repeating the exact meaning of the song at face value.

    I assumed it was a take on the “it’s 10 o’clock somewhere” as an excuse for morning drinking, and I assume the song was some derivative of that?

    Anyway, that saying has been In wide use in Australia for decades
