The work is World’s Scariest Ride by Johnny Craig. Apparently according to this auction, “Johnny Craig was commissioned for a painting in 1994, and these are the concept sketches and some of the more detailed final sketches showing different P.o.V. and distance from the subject.”
I could’ve sworn this was goosebumps, huh.

I think Johnny Craig did artwork for Tales from the Crypt, but maybe it was commissioned for a goosebumps cover? I didn’t do much digging but found the auction and sketches to be the most interesting and wanted to share it.
