Windows XP wasn’t good until SP2 or 3, and then it was only better for gaming IMO.
Windows 2000 was super solid and what I used for work. But XP was better for games at the time.
XP was also “free” for a lot of people thanks to a certain volume license key.
I guess you’re making a joke about .5 being half and .25 being quarter. We say half past 11 in the US too.
The real problem is languages that use “half 11” and it means 11:30 or 10:30 depending on where you are.

Each month would be named after one of Elon Musk’s children, but the names would be randomized every year (any future children are added to the rotation). Eventually this becomes impossible to keep up with and we just end up using numbers anyway, which is fine with me.
