You mean, take the… clothesline? Like steal it?

Or maybe you noticed more people doing their laundry? Also, when the weather gets better they may feel more tempted to use it to dry their laundry ;)
Maybe they’re short on closet space.

I hate when my lightbulbs get wet and I have to dry them on the clothes line.
Don’t do that. They may fall and break.
Give them 60 seconds in the microwave instead.
If you use proper clothes pins that have the socket they screw into you don’t have that problem.

In that case it may be to keep birds away (to have them not nest on the balcony)

Maybe what you’re seeing aren’t clotheslines at all but string lights with decor attached?
