It is nothing short of murder for pay. The media companies are guaranteed to already be selling ad space for it and it will bring in billions. And- we should all know already that the nazi organization known as MAGA have already claimed their share of it.

What if I told you live streaming the execution wasn’t about the money? The regime will claw money wherever they want.
It’s about power, humiliation, dehumanization, and desensitization.
It’s also a test. Can we get away with publicly executing people? They seem to have done it so far, cops and ICE have done it for a while.
It won’t stop at public execution of death row inmates. The Nazi train is full steam ahead, and there will be a lot more death, a lot more suffering, and a lot of people enjoying every fucking second of it. Why? Because that’s the only thing they enjoy. Its a disease that is only curable one way.

Somehow paying for an insipid “reality” show to rehabilitate his image worked. What does that say about our fellow citizens?
I agree, it’s about continuing to shift the US away from a democracy into an authoritarian regime. It’s a message for the opposition when they begin to steal the midterms.
It’s also about making more people complicit in the regime’s crimes.
