I agree with you. Drug control is only needed to control population so they keep working for their masters.

Alcohol is a drug too, and is allowed because it tends to kill closer to old age where people become burden to the system. People can work next day after consuming alcohol. Also most consumers do that just before weekends. So negative impact is even less.
