We just met, so I don’t know him that well, but he was honest from the beginning. He says he’s still married because of their son, and because his wife doesn’t want to get divorced right now. Apparently, South Korea has a fault-based divorce system. TIL.
Never, ever trust someone who tells you this. Insist on speaking to the wife first. This is the most classic lie to get some side action if you are already married.
Really. It leads into the classic “I’ll leave her soon I just need to get a few things in order” lie to keep it going.
Trust but verify. Only one person can really answer the question at hand.
