I’ve been reading some responses to this situation and it seems everyone is attempting to explain this as though there is some type of rational decision making that went into it. I’m going with the idea that the only reason this occurred is because Trump got mad. That’s it.

I’ve been playing guitar for decades but I’m also very musical. I’ve never really learned, or even really used musical theory outside of someone telling me what chord they’re playing. But now that I’m older I want to learn more theory as I’m sure it will help my playing.

… white they’re having sex with them.

This should be great for productivity.

The only US president or government who has ever done this is this one. Not plural, singular.

I didn’t know about this. Thank you!

This is probably slightly off topic from the intent of this post but I wish any device that produced sound, like your coffee maker pinging when your coffee is ready or your washer/dryer audibly notifying you when a cycle is complete, had at least a small ability to modify or change that sound. Even just a small way to change the frequency or pitch of the sound would help. Today manufacturers take the approach of ‘it’s important that someone knows when their spin cycle is complete!’, rather than ‘let’s let the consumer have some control over their audio environment’.

“Protecting children” is one of the last and best tactics people use when they’re trying desperately to distract from other problems.

What disturbs me most about all the tracking and profile building that’s occurring is the loss of the sense of freedom and autonomy we once had when we knew no one was watching us. Just the idea that someone could know more about us than we’re willing to share or even know ourselves creates self-imposed limits on our thoughts and actions when it’s essential that we maintain these freedoms.

If I wasn’t hungry I would so fuck with these things.

From my experience gay men have a lot more sex than straights.

Probably about 30.

There is no reason to compliment people on word usage. The point is to communicate effectively.

It could be any number of different things. Definitely communications and networks, or a billing or accounting system, any type of security that’s in place, databases, a CRM system, internal messaging systems like Slack, things that manage loads on servers, the OS you’re using, the codebase you’re working with… things like that.

Are you talking about the backend of an IT system in a business?

Your scrum master or project manager should be putting these stories into Jira. And infinite canvas boards can be great for a lot of UX work but you need to work together with UX and get them to give you better deliverables.

What are you expected to do with these files? Are these what you’re given to build the design from?
Coercion is getting somebody to do something against their will. I think Trump is pretty much all in with whatever he’s doing at the time. But you’re absolutely right he’s being controlled and manipulated behind the scenes by people who absolutely know what they’re doing. And Trump is probably about as easy to control and manipulate as you can get. Just tell him he’s a smart and powerful leader then give him a piece of chocolate cake and tell him it was made with the finest chocolate in the world.
