  • Do you not remember the 90s where food spoilage, warehouse theft, and petty shoplifting were rife? And yet, whaddayaknow, the retailers still made profit with their low prices.

Retailers jacking up their prices under the pretense of covering theft losses and the public lapping it up is the best mind trick they’ve pulled yet.

They were a pillar in world science infrastructure, they brought peace to world sea trading due to the dominance of their navy fleet, and hollywood helped spread liberal ideals worldwide.

Yes, they started proxy wars for privateering purposes, and have let their neoliberal tendencies dominate their politics, but Americans on the whole as well as European countries under the umbrella of their protection seemingly thrived under it.

Now they’re demanding tribute. Actively dismantling their umbrella of influence, and defunding any progressive thought in sciences and culture. This is a new trend.

  • Sat next to a guy on an Amtrack train. He was hosting a wifi hotspot called “Fuck Joe Biden” which he went out of his way to show me, and I noticed after a while that he had a tiny swastika tattoo on his hand. There was literally nowhere else to sit, and it was going to be a long ride.

We talked about games and he brought out his VR headset and let me play with it. I got him a coffee when I went to the food carriage and he got me a biscuit when he went. He seemed kinda tired and lonely.

Paying artists a small fee for their work through a necessary middleman isn’t perpetuating the system in any meaningful way.

It’s the unneccesary trillion dollar middlemen that have bribed the regulators and positioned themselves as the only authority in a market that are doing the most harm.

Further, they’re getting subsidized by taxpayer money to do so.

TL;DR: buy beer from the back of a van, it does not matter
