That’s a V1, and has a low serial number.
There are “patched” V1s that the plastic things don’t work on, V2, OLED, and Lite. All of these need a chip to mod. You could hard mod yours too, if you wanted.
V1 and V2 are super easy to hard mod. The lite has a few more points to do than V1/V2, and the OLED is quit difficult but still possible.
I’ve hard modded quite a few V1/V2 and a handfull of the Lites.

Honestly, I’d love to help people or animals with my time. I’ve looked at jobs that would let me do this, we’d have to sell the house and I’d still not be spending that time with family… If I’m going to be unhappy about a job, I should just stay in tech so I can potentially work from home and afford the lifestyle we currently have.
As someone with a 5 month old, who has been laid off and unemployed for 6 months, I just want money. Rather, I need money. Soon bills will go unpaid so we can eat…
Point being, I’m going to hate any job I get because I’m just going to look forward to going home and being with family. This time with them, while super fucking stressful, has been amazing and I don’t want it to stop.

Running curl piped to bash with sudo has become pretty common. Just run this one line to install software or repos+keys that are later used to install software. That along with most older articles starting with turning off SELinux make me sad.
I think the most important part is to take your time and understand what you’re doing before you do it. Tech savvy admins can also be caught if they’re in a rush or just blindly trust AI without confirming the command is safe.
