It was added after Trump took office. There were articles about it. Apparently labeling doorways is helpful for dementia patients, and many people took this as a sign of dementia.
Here is one of the articles. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-s-new-oval-office-label-sparks-dementia-rumors-to-keep-him-from-getting-lost/ar-AA1PSNV6
Are there still more than like 5 people trying to make Latinx a thing? I thought that one kind of died out early on, but I’m not a member of that community.

Maybe a loose fit, but not that loose.

Given the number of times the, er, woke side of things gets blamed for terminology, I think it communicates the sentiment perfectly. When we try using very specific terms like white privilege or toxic masculinity , a great many people obtusely (intentionally in many cases I think) find those terms confusing or assume they mean something different than they do.
You hear “no one is illegal on stolen land” and you know exactly what they are trying to say. Anything more complicated would be too long or end up trying to be specific in a way that would confuse things, IMO.

Cheese is unhealthy for mice.

EndeavourOS is very close to being vanilla arch with sane defaults. I run it on multiple machines and it’s rock solid.
The question you have to ask yourself, though, is this: Do I want to scold white people for their privilege, or do I want to get them on my side to fix it? In my experience, rubbing their noses in it is going to set people’s minds against you.
I think you are making the same mistake they do. You can’t very well get someone to help fix a problem if you don’t let them know the problem exists. Just discussing or explaining white privilege isn’t the same as scolding someone about it. The folks who take it that way are going to take it that way no matter what terms we use, because they don’t want to admit it exists.

The only way the dems could fuck this up is if they run on centrist bullshit chasing republican votes, again.
I wish I had any confidence that they learned their lesson after trying that with Kamala. However, I have none.
I’m partial to this version:

Yep somehow I did. I knew it had to be something like that.

I was hoping it was something like that. I must have just missed it somehow.

I’ve never been in one, but family brought home some of their “beaver nuggets” and I really couldn’t believe how disgustingly delicious they were. Basically they are big crunchy sugary things that taste a lot like plain Capn’ Crunch, but they go down by the handful way to easily.
A friend told me if you want to be really decadent you can eat them in a bowl with some milk like breakfast cereal.
They also brought me some of the fudge, but I was less impressed with that.

I was the same. “They must have had a reason…”

I used to assume police were generally trustworthy and I could believe their version of any given event. Now I believe nothing they say without supporting video evidence.

This is the clear solution and I can’t believe it doesn’t get brought up more often.
I’d prefer all shapes and sizes, and even if some of them are humanoid I wouldn’t want them to look more humanoid than say C3PO. For multiple reasons I wouldn’t want them realistic enough to fool any part of my brain into thinking they are human.
