How many bananas is that?

How many bananas is that?

The German version uses „ihr“ (her) and „hier“ (here) as well but relies on how similar they‘re pronounced for the wordplay - so it works a bit better auf Deutsch.

The animators seem to really love this show. The effort they’re putting in to some of the shots - like the shop owner pouring the ink into the bottle - is just so extra.
So they just teach the one math then? Would explain why you can’t count to 24.

Guillotine maintenance.
But if you’re even the slightest bit aware of statistics, near misses are exactly the same as complete misses. Seems strange that anyone educated falls for it. Desperation I can understand, especially these days when traditional ways of building wealth are almost as bad as just leaving cash under your mattress.
The most risk I ever take with my money is an indexed investment fund and even that feels a bit much at the moment.

Yes definitely. As an older millennial, the manga is one of my few modern favourites.
No, we must take everything completely seriously. Especially the stage personas of entertainers. Now where did I put my Daft Punk vinyl? Those two were completely normal musicians with no tomfoolery /s

I don’t need to try. You aren’t learning facts from interrogating an LLM. If it doesn’t have information, it will make up a result. If it does have information, it will make up a result. Even that is personifying it too much because really the transformer has no concept of what „making something up“ is. It takes an input and gives an output, no matter what.

Yeah it takes insane amounts of electricity. There’s an aluminium smelter in NZ with an entire hydroelectric power plant dedicated to it. 13% of the total electricity supply of NZ dedicated to just one smelter.

You mean it hallucinated a positive response to your leading question as it is meant to? You are operating on a fundamental misunderstanding of what LLMs do. Even if what you said is true, an LLM would have no knowledge of that unless it was explicitly told as such as an input - and why would they be stupid enough to do that?

My IT teacher’s password was his personalised number plate. I only used it to unblock Newgrounds for my friends.

I‘m pleased and astonished we’re getting such a high quality adaptation of this. It was definitely worth the wait. Some of the keyframes especially are absolutely stunning. As for the episode itself, this is the first big turning point for Coco and the director did a really good job of putting some weight on some key emotional points.

German: that toad looking thing has a shield on it
To the extent that even locals just point and say „das da“ because who fucking knows what they’re calling each one.

Any Kobo can install KOReader with a minor firmware update (that only needs to be done once). There’s instructions here: https://github.com/koreader/koreader/wiki/Installation-on-Kobo-devices It supports OPDS out of the box (though IMO is a little unintuitive to use)
They’ll be just like British Labour who are somehow even worse than the last Tory government was on trans issues.

I think YouTube has a lot of room for improvement but why are people still so ignorant about the DMCA and the obligations of platforms to maintain safe-harbour status? YouTube must take down content on claim or open itself up to being legally liable for all user generated content. This Tom Scott video is still relevant https://youtu.be/1Jwo5qc78QU
I‘d add in KOreader so you can remotely access Calibre through OPDS.
