Well, either Ronny is an introvert and not interested in meeting new people, or he has already been introduced to Jesus before and makes an informed decision here

4·21 days agoIf you’re talking about ransomware (?), they are actually famous for great customer service and not stealing your credit card details. If people don’t trust them, noone will pay. So they offer live chats with real humans to help you set up a bitcoin wallet etc., to ensure smooth processing.
The business has developed further though, not if you don’t pay they often threaten to release the data on the web.

2·21 days agoClues by Sam. It runs on a website, do no installation necessary. Perfect for a quick round on the commute.
Another one that I found fun to start with and it grows with your skill is shattered pixel dungeon

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Let's say hypothetically I wanted to leave the US permanently;
61·1 month agoI think this is both easy on the sense that there are a lot of feasible options, and difficult in the sense of selecting the most suitable one for you. English alone opens up many places to you. But besides language, culture is a major factor. I remember a story about immigrants in Finland feeling excluded and had difficulties building social relationships. But in Finland, even the locals don’t have so many local friends. So, the way of life is just not suitable to many.
Other than that, try to see this not only as a negative thing, but also as an opportunity. Don’t just ask where you would do okay, but include questions like where you would feel comfortable.
Final thought: often the “most popular option” is not necessarily the best. In Europe, many countries that are not Germany or France are nice, sometimes the QoL is even higher. So, consider Austria besides Germany, for example.

4·1 month agoI don’t know where you’re coming from on this planet, but in my environment oats, fruit, and nuts were very much breakfast cereals since my childhood. So one can disagree, but two agrees.
You fill this with some type of milk (plant or dairy), but water also does the job or yogurt.
My point is just that it’s a stupid claim to say pizza is better if you stay unspecific about what you’re eating, really.

8·1 month agopizza is not a health food, but when compared with a quickly poured bowl of sugar flakes, it’s a more balanced meal.
Just use oat flakes, some fruit, some nuts, there is your more healthy alternative.
OTOH, if you compare sugar flakes with a vegetable pizza, with whole grain base, lots of veggies, and not so much cheese, pizza wins

Is there a strength competition somewhere, where people challenge themselves to escape from Jesus’ death cell and move the boulder?
I had to write the school regulations a few times.
One time, I wrote one in advance on a boring day and when the teacher told me to write it, I could just hand it to him directly. He made me write another one. Still felt powerful in that moment and would recommend
Also, they should have made clear that they don’t want anything but the company
I think if you’re creative, you can come up with a similar CV for yourself.
I, for one:
- have won a mini golf tournament at age 12
- received an award for my achievements in school
- wrote and recorded several songs
(Don’t ask for details please but these are all true, technically)
With the right parents added, I would have also achieved:
- buy a luxury house
Quick Wikipedia search only revealed that she grew up in a neighborhood in Seoul known for its “affluent inhabitants” hope that helps.
Also, note how none of the listed achievements have any social notion to them. No supporting people in need. No protesting war. Singing a K-pop song and buying a house. Congratulations

Good point, I hadn’t thought about the entire post apocalypse genre. But I was rather thinking about something similar to a strategy game like Tropico or SimCity, just in that setting
