Network loops are real. Network loops are common. Network loops are the leading cause of people screaming “for fucks sake!” After spending far too long looking for other solutions to why the network goes down intermittently.

Sometimes saying things out loud helps people make sense of them, I don’t know all the science behind it but I’m sure there is a good reason.

Depending on your tastes a cottage pie or moussaka are simple (each has their own challenges like the mash on the cottage pie) but they are tasty and can look quite good in a big crock pot or something.

If you are doing this to impress then no matter what, tidy up after yourself and have a plan for any leftovers if you make too much.

Russia pirating everything is why the R5 DVD was a thing. Usually rushed out before any other region to try and stop them pirating a movie.

Inflation is the single biggest issue in the system imho Inflation is why shareholders expect more money this year than last year, so companies do shitty things to squeeze money out of a company for them. Doing the same thing year on year doesn’t always mean you get more.

Take farmers, they aren’t getting more for milk or grain year on year. The companies that process those things have been pushing up prices and squeezing the farmers that are paying more for feed, fuel and other things though.

Companies existing just to service investors and shareholders is destroying everyday life as they try to min-max there way through.

Water companies on the verge of collapse as lack of investment catches up with them. Shrinkflation in products we buy and use. Examples are everywhere but the “experts” are still taught from the same books written 50 years ago. Theory of economics is just a theory, try looking at what is happening out there for a while instead.

If you are going the Windows route Microsofts family settings can create a child account that is locked down and has usage time limits and a bed time that will lock the PC.

It isn’t perfect but does give you some insight into what they are using he PC for.

Google do something similar for Android devices + Chrome/Google search.

OpenDNS has a family friendly DNS that is filtered and free to add another layer to any device.

As others have said anything you do will only slow them down. It’s like swearing, you can ban them doing it around you but they’ll still do it at school with their friends. Sometimes they’ll slip up and use a word at the wrong time and you will have to remind them what is appropriate but as a parent it’s what you are there for, helping them form a decent set of guidelines on what and when things are appropriate.

There is also the proven method of finding the right answer to anything, post the wrong one on the internet and let people argue.
