I think you nailed it. I’ve read the manga and it seems to be like that. Things go slow, then a push happens.
I enjoy it the most when Amane interacts with people other than Mahiru. He is so reserved around her at times, it’s like he’s dead.
IIRC, there should be more pushing later in S2. So, keep on trucking, friendo.
I’ve been watching Angel Next Door and Isekai Non Biri S2 and have been picking at some of the new ones. Nothing has really got my attention this year but other respondents mentioned some that I haven’t heard of, so I’ll try those.
I couldn’t get through the first episode of Always a Catch. It looked like something I’d enjoy but it just felt flat. Same with Miss Maid Simply Loves to Eat.
The others I’ve watched and will stick with for now are Kusunoki’s Garden of the Gods and The Klutzy Class Monitor and The Girl with the Short Skirt.
Neither of them are amazing but they’re both really enjoyable, in very different ways.
There are some stakes in Garden, but the MC isn’t aware of them yet. It’s been fun to watch to learn more about Japanese spirituality and religion. It’s very cozy.
Klutzy Class Monitor has no real stakes. It is bonkers and I’m loving it. The female MC is basically the only “reasonable” person while most of the other characters are fun caricatures of high school anime tropes. It is fun to watch and to enjoy the weird ride that happens each episode.
The Angel Next Door does pick up pace but, imo, S2 is starting off like S1. Slow. I find myself getting easily distracted while watching it.
It doesn’t scratch the romance itch like My Dress-Up Darling or Horimiya, which needed like 10 seasons.
I saw that Witch Hat Atelier was getting an anime so I started reading the manga and it did not click for me. I got through about 20 chapters and it just did not keep my attention.
I’ll probably check out your other recommendations. I need some comfort watches and some CGDCT. My life is kind of a dumpster fire, so I need uplifting.

I’ve never played them, so I bought the double redux (2033 and Last Light) and Exodus in sale for my PS5. They were US$5 each. 2033 has been good. I’m not far into it, but I’m going to keep going.

The “archy” is definitely related to the idea of a top-level leadership/executive group that is set apart from the rest. Anarchy removes that executive privilege and parasitism.
For any society to function, there must be rules. Anarchy, in most forms, the community is the legislature and judiciary.

Good ole brute force is the best method, though, as you said, targeting is a huge problem. Basically you need a low Earth orbit shotgun.
Schools are run by cities, counties, with oversight and regulations divided between every level, all the way to Federal.
There are minimum standards set for nutrition but many kinds of schools are exempt from providing meals or meeting the minimum.
Some schools go above and beyond, providing nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks that the students can take home. Others, on the other hand, see it as a hassle and do the bare minimum.
Many US schools are misfunded, with many layers of unneeded bureaucracy and testing added, pulling resources away from the classroom and cafeteria.
It’s easy - just listen to what Trump and most Congressional Republicans say about it. They parrot most of Russia’s talking points.
K-On, Bocchi, and Yuru Camp are my favs. I’ve heard of most of the others but didn’t know enough to watch but I’ll save this list.
