Technology@lemmy.world•Software Engineers Say They're Losing the Ability to Code Now That AI Does It for ThemEnglish
9·5 days agoMuscles that are not used lose their function. It weakens and eventually becomes unusable. As humans’ ability to ask questions of artificial intelligence increases, its ability to learn and store information is disappearing. If the brain can obtain something easily, it doesn’t feel the need to take precautions regarding it.Therefore, memorizing code doesn’t involve things like writing it anymore. It only keeps the recognition function active when it sees it.

212·12 days agoI’ll see you when you start eating those herbs soon. The previous virus started like this too, but idiots like you wouldn’t accept it.Even if you pulled out all the weeds now, it wouldn’t do any good.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How worried should we be about hantavirus right now?
530·12 days agoI’m more afraid of the World Health Organization than the Hantavirus. Whenever they want to confine people to their homes, they release a virus. Then the World Health Organization makes a statement. An excuse is immediately fabricated for the released virus.Men in white clothes appear, followed by masks.
While all this is happening, they are inevitably subjecting people to certain systems. The first pandemic brought with it structures like remote work, masks, wireless payment systems, and online grocery stores.
This time it’s universal citizen salaries, A global passport, an identity where all information is collected in a single source, the disappearance of cash, and digital payments are some of the structures of the future.I still don’t understand the point of killing people to convince them of this new global world order.

11·12 days agoUnfortunately it is not so simple. Microsoft Windows uses Copilot inside the system. Google Chrome uses Gemini models. Even the duckduckgo uses an optional AI. Nowadays any computer touches the internet touches AI systems directly or indirectly.
- Use as much as possible the local software instead of cloud-based softwares
- F*** the big tech companies. Use Linux, use librewolf or brave or any suitable browser instead of Chrome and Mozilla.
- Use firewall all over your system.
- Use DNS filtering
- Use custom roms In your android
- Fuck Google search. Use another search engine.
- Use Neovim or VSCodium instead of motherfucker VSCode
- Use self hosted cloud services
You cannot avoid 100%, but you can decrease the collateral damage in this way.

Microslop Edge Team
Another Microslop victim
Since Microsoft acquired GitHub and CoPilot, GitHub has been losing ground. Systems that try to force AI integration on their users only cause User reaction. That’s why many users are switching to systems like Codeberg.

13·20 days agoFirstly, research like AlphaFold falls under the umbrella of biological research known as the transhuman project, representing the next phase of humanism.
In other words, it’s a project that attempts to disable the work of the first creator and control the course of processes like creation and evolution through human intervention. Essentially, they aim to biologically advance humanity to another stage in the evolutionary process by bypassing God’s creation.
All of these projects are funded by US-based foundations and organizations. This reveals that such projects serve not humanity, but certain vested interests and elitist groups.

4·26 days agoIt’s the age of “Mega Tech Corporations”
If corporations become immune to oversight by state legislative bodies, they exert pressure on governments and transform into feudal structures. At this point, countries that host technology companies have a major role to play.Today, if a technology company has billions of dollars, it can certainly pressure the government to act in its own interests. At this point, the government needs to create legal regulations for these types of companies.

Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft Exec Suggests AI Agents Will Need to Buy Software Licenses - Business InsiderEnglish
5·1 month agoChain fraud activities are being carried out in chain systems like n8n, where AI agents are used together. It didn’t take them long to create systems that generate deepfake voices to sound like real people, directing users to buy a product or deposit money into an account. Many videos on this topic have surfaced in Türkiye, particularly on YouTube. If the users and system creators are to be penalized, then of course, information logs regarding these agents can be used.
However, if this is being done to keep some agents out of the system using user license fees, it will completely backfire.

1·2 months agoYes, there are those who are trying to develop it independently, but they can’t achieve the desired results quickly enough due to the scoring system. There are those developing vaccines independently, and those conducting genome projects independently, but ultimately, it all comes down to funding.

Technology@lemmy.world•Team turns DNA into a rewritable hard driveEnglish
2·2 months agoBut here too, it comes down to money and power. Funding for scientific research is provided by wealthy governments and mega-corporations like FAANG and Neuralink (founded by Elon Musk). This dictates the goals for scientific research. Studies are conducted in areas where it is desired that what is possible be achieved. Currently, billions of dollars are being invested in projects such as artificial intelligence systems, robotics, and genome projects involving cell and tissue regeneration. The claim that science is independent is completely unfounded.

Technology@lemmy.world•Team turns DNA into a rewritable hard driveEnglish
21·2 months agoNobody asked the real question? Why especially do they need to store data on DNA?
Human being wrote the data onto rocks, ceramics, papirus, paper, cd, harddisk… But what has happened? why now DNA? Is it the part of a transhuman project (evulotion circle : genesis - humanism - posthumanism - transhumanism)? Do we need to combine machines with organic parts?
Looking at the investments made in computer technology(ai, cloud etc.) , electronics(microchip industry, REEs etc. ), and biology(genom projects) over the last 40 years, I see that someone desperately wants transhumanism.

4·2 months agoThis is the America - the land of “Opportunities” 🤠

I was particularly disgusted when I realized that the project called Gotham was being used in the wars in the Middle East. Until now, I was among those who believed that artificial intelligence would benefit humanity. However, my hope is gradually weakening. Aside from generating more profit, strengthening the power of monarchies, and benefiting monopolies, I haven’t yet seen any aspect of it that touches people’s lives.
