Let’s be optimistic, there’s the case for legalization, which may elliminate any substance for war, and thus it comes to end, just not the usual case for a war…

Technology@lemmy.world•Claude-powered AI coding agent deletes entire company database in 9 seconds — backups zapped, after Cursor tool powered by Anthropic's Claude goes rogueEnglish
8·22 days agoI honestly think, it’s very cool for prototyping ideas at this point. It’s also parasitic. Although I think because of (maybe) different reasons: It gives people the power (which they unfortunately use way too much) to imitate an art, but in an non-arty imperfect way that doesn’t comprehend details (of the art), resulting in slop. For software that can go very wrong as we see here. This is also a reason why I mostly quit open-source, because now everyone can code a bad version of a library, it sucked the art out of good open source etc. and it’s increasingly difficult because of good wording/“look” etc. to differentiate on quality of code, previously you could often check a code-base review it somewhat and know how good the quality is, now it’s more like “is this slop or not?” (in which case I go a big circle around it, because reviewing is often not worth it)
At some point though, I think this automation of work is inevitable, we need to think about a society that can peacefully exist without having the requirement to work to exist. I actually think this could easily be utopian, everyone can focus on what they actually think is fulfilling life.
Though, it’s sad and concerning that technology is developing faster than society can adapt, which is why I’m mostly with you, because people (or representatives like politicians) just aren’t “programmed” for these fast-paced changes, to adapt the technology such that the future may be more utopian as it currently is heading towards a dystopian future…

In the end dosage is very relevant and of course even more important: set and setting
I do think acid is more homogeneous and easier to dose appropriately though (YMMV) But the length of a trip can make it challenging.
Do heroic doses of either, shrooms for me result in more body load and are more introspective chaotic/mystic. Acid more energetic/clearer/“Neon” wider headspace. But in the end setting is what I think is most important for how the trip plays out (I had my best and worst trip on shrooms).

3·2 months agoYep, (social) media is optimized in fueling your emotions, and well the strongest emotions are negative, so it’s mostly optimized towards that.
Avoiding this, doing something more healthy leads to a better mental (and likely physical as it’s connected) health IMO/IME.

9·2 months agoYeah I think I recently have read here on Lemmy that the amygdala is bigger for MAGA, so I think the opposite is true indeed.
Which would also make more sense, because of all the irrational anxieties those scum has…
Yeah obviously, that’s why I said additionally to the other answers.
I mean downloads basically limited by your bandwidth, usually the highest quality (like blu-ray rip 4k, almost no compression) etc.
But if you don’t have issues, well probably don’t bother.
Another thing if you aren’t using a VPN (which you probably should), they’re safer, as well… they’re private.
Additionally to the other answers, take a look at stremio with Torrentio. A few of my friends use it (I’m using a private tracker), it’s basically as convenient as using Netflix AFAICS.

US is liked
Brave assumption, there might be some people outside the US who like them, but I guess that’s true for all countries. I for my part started hating the US, it’s such a bad development for humanity, since capitalism/oligarchy takes over. Even China starts to look good in comparison…

world stability for a huge portion of the globe
Just LOL. Probably the force that causes the biggest global instability. Do I have to mention Iran as most recent event?
There might’ve been a period where that might’ve been true, but it certainly isn’t anymore.

61·2 months agoStill plenty unhealthy, sugar is absorbed way faster than just eating an apple.
But yeah still more healthy than something that contains HFCS as second ingredient (and thus after water the highest contributing ingredient…)

There’s vaultwarden, I don’t think it’s difficult to migrate to that.
