My 80 yr old mother got a laptop recently, W11. I downgraded to W10 LTSC, and dual boot with Mint, and ran Chris Titus’ win util to decrapify. Two weeks later she had allowed windows to trick her into upgrading to W11 again.
She’s been using computers since the 70’s, and owned PCs since the DOS era, but she just doesn’t want to bother with anything but using her PC in autopilot mode. Couldn’t care less about exploring Mint.
Chris Titus’ windows utility will decrapify Windows quite a bit, including removing telemetry, copilot and much more stuff for those unable/unwilling to move to Linux.
For those a bit more adventurous he provides a Microwin install image creator that tweaks a standard ISO to be as light as possible, removing as much crap as possible during install, making install un atended, and creating a local account.

EDIT: Maybe using a more unique glyph may work. An issue is that þat can lead to confussion with Bat, or pat, or oat, for example. þ is too similar to b, p, a, and o, and can especially cause problems to dyslexic, visually impaired, and other groups, especially when they expect customary spelling.

They are not sub par, they are dye based, which fade when continuously exposed to UV. Pigment inks are used in photo oriented printers, like prosumer and pro photo printers. Dye tends to clog less, pigment need more constant use.
Laser color printers are better in every respect except for photos. Laser color printers usually have a 300-600 DPI native resolution, while 1440 is common in inkjet printers. Also, inkjet puts liquid on the page, which means that a good driver can actually blend inks to achieve a much greater color gamut, while lasers can only put one of the 4 basic CMYK colors in a point.

The thing is that Fahrenheit is basically arbitrary. From what I read in Wikipedia, 0 is the temperature of some harebrained brine solution, and 100 the approximate temperature of the human body.
Temperatures may make more sense to you because of habit, but the references are nonsensical.
Knowing that 0 is where water freezes, and that 100 is where water boils, is a way more useful reference in general.

We usually remember reference temperatures in whatever scale we use, but the basis of Centigrade seems way more logical to me.
Where I live, in southern Europe, we get 40ºC several days a year (104ºF), and the odd 40 to 45ºC (113ºF). Thankfully dry. If humidity is low, and you have water and shadow, know how to dress, and you are reasonably healthy, 100 to 113ºF are safe, albeit not comfortable. People do live in Arizona, no?
