I meant as part of the image. I share memes mostly by directly forwarding the picture, which means losing the caption in cases like this.

Thanks for sharing, I can put that to good use in the classes I’m about to take! That’s an intro class though? Maybe it would be even worse if they did it the other way round: leaving beginner students hanging, wait till half drop out and only care for the survivors in advanced classes.

Especially the MIT license lends itself super well to exploitation by big tech. I just don’t get why it’s become all the rage in the open source space the past couple decades. It feels like every cool new thing is MIT licensed. Some people say it shouldn’t be considered Free software
