Where I’m living a car really isn’t needed, but the picture of having an extension cord dangling from my third floor apartment down to the road is kinda funny.
I guess AC charging would be rly nice to have in suburbia… Especially when you also have solar on the roof.

Hell, people had whole private train cars before automobiles were a thing.

The Americans actually tried that with some gas reserves, and as expected nuclear fracking increased yields, but radioactive gas.
So they’re the only country who has nukes themselves for economic reasons…
