Sitting is not only superior, it’s also optimal for proper urination. This is not my opinion. A pelvic PT professional told me this. I only stand rarely. Mostly when I’m in a public restroom with a urinal.

Technology@lemmy.world•Connecticut lawmakers approve bill for cell phone ban in schools — but critics argue that having different rules for adults and students is ‘not good role modeling at all’English
9·3 months agoThings can literally go back to this with zero negative consequences. The only parents that are upset about this are the ones with deeply co-dependent relationships with their kids. My wife is a teacher and when her school briefly had kids put their phones in pouches, a lot of her students told her they felt relief from feeling like they have to check their phone constantly. This ban will help with teacher burnout too. Teachers spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to get their students to put their phones away. It should have been put into law years ago. Also, the teachers don’t have time to check their phone during class, so the comment about role modeling is complete bullshit.

In case it wasn’t mentioned already, consider looking into pelvic physical therapy. They specialize in this area and treat physical problems that cause pain during sexual activity, bodily functions, etc. I see one and it has helped me a lot!
My wife has had an issue with pain during penetration that turned out to be caused by the depo birth control shot. It’s a rare side effect that no one told her about.
