Technology@lemmy.world•YouTuber Hank Green Is Facing a Fan Revolt Over His AI UseEnglish
52·11 days agoanti-anti-AI ≠ pro-AI, it assumes there’s only anti-AI and pro-AI and nothing in between.
And the wording was clearly about the anti-AI mob as opposed to people who understand the dangers and benefits of AI. It’s similar to the difference between a Gamer™ and a gamer.

3514·11 days agoBut they didn’t say anything pro-AI. At most they were anti-anti-AI mob, which is just reasonable, as is with any “mob”. And I read mob here as mindless parrots that keep repeating talking points and hating for the sake of conformity.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Man, this new human chatbot is great. Way better than the computer ones.

Or they could just know the correct spelling of a common Arabic name.
Guys, check out this loser still not on a list.
But Switch exclusives are amazing anyway. 1st party Nintendo games are almost always good. And ever since Switch 1, pretty much all of the indie games are available on the platform. And since indie games don’t really need powerful hardware, it’s a great experience.
If we are being technical, that word uses katakana, not Kanji.

61·2 months agoWhy not? As a kid I already knew the ins and outs of the OS better than my parents and could fix practically any tech issue.

31·2 months agoNot sure what you mean. Are you implying that because on occasion some people will lose an AirPod they are somehow worse than vape pods that are designed to be disposed of within days after first use?

141·2 months agoCompared to a vape pen AirPods have insane life span. It’s still bad, but not even in the same ballpark as something you usually throw away in a week or so.
The original copypasta uses “orgies”. Since, you know, you can’t invent something that has existed before even humans.
I think this gives off AI vibes precisely because it’s a high-effort comic strip, drawing wise. Normally, comics aren’t high-effort, and this feels sus because “you really put this much effort into making this simple joke?”. Like, the joke is fine but drawing effort is disproportional.

17·2 months agoIt’s literally on the thumbnail… There’s 5 well known AI products and this random thing. Are they trying to make it seem that it’s on the same level?

And for some reason, some permissions are listed twice. Idk if it’s a bug or an attempt by OP to artificially make the list look longer.
