IIRC it came out at a similar time as Parappa the Rapper, it was sensible that Vib Ribbon did it differently.

Well, I obviously cant attest to its authenticity 100%, but to fake a factory seal tear strip is very difficult. Also, the Y folds on the top and bottom are very neat and flat. Someone must have fed in into the machine that seals games wrong? I honestly don’t know how the machines operate.

Im in the UK, my friend had a demo too. We played it to death till the full game came out.

What do you think we’ll see instead. When it comes to tech, id never say never. But I know what you mean.

Quantum processors are already a thing. I dont think we’ll see quantum powered consumer products for a while but I think they will eliminate the need for massive data centres and should be way better for the environment.

The Saturn’s terrible marketing campaign, 100 dollar higher price tag (than PS1) and inferior technology were the undoing of Sega, but you’re right. They needed to slow down. Could have waited to take on Nintendo again with their N64 rather than the new guy PlayStation.

So, is this like, playing the brown noise and everyone nearby just constantly shits themselves?
Photoshop actually required some effort.

Erm, not a clue. Sorry.

Poor Charlie, always getting it in the neck.

Thanks. That is genuinely really cool. I remember the name NegCon but I dont remember this controller. Slipped me by and maybe never released in Europe?

Twisty controller?

I have to say, I do miss the robustness of a megadrive / genesis case

Having checked the Wikipedia page for Wiepout, the Euro version featured a track each from Leftfield, Chemical Brothers and Orbital. I didnt know The Prodigy were approached to provide an original song, but apparently it never happened. Looking back, it is probably my earliest memory of licensed music being used in a game. I became a big fan of Chem Bros and Leftfield because of Wipeout. Orbital not so much. It wasn’t until Gran Tursimo 1 when I again remember a licensed soundtrack being used so well and heavily.

But does my mobile phone run doom? Yes, yes it does.

Is this true for only the US version? I’m in the UK and I very specifically remember playing the game CD on a stereo. However looking back on it, it was not the black label release.

Yes, that was a good spiritual successor as was quantum redshift on the xbox. Thanks for the pics tip!
I think when you get into grading there is a certain level of fraudulent activity going on. There are definitely the odd re seals out there but I’ve personally not seen or come across a fake seal tab.
