I’ve taken to using Summit it took a bit of figuring out and configuring before I decided to keep to it.

I used Lemmy for a while, then jumped over to Piefed out of curiosity.
Personally, I can’t see a real difference from my own usage. Possibly I can see a few more communities, I’m not even sure, but yeah, for me personally, they both do the same.
Granted might be partly because I’m using Summit for both accounts and generally looking at the same things.

Stop using mainstream stuff play with Linux and raspberry pi (or other sbc) gear that the big companies haven’t ruined yet

I’m using a patched infinity but it kind of depends if you ever made an api key or not I think. Morphe I think can patch the official reddit app but I wouldn’t want to use it even patched if I’m honest.
Ohh it must be the one the vaccine set people up to target , rip vaccine users ✌️
I’m the same but I’ve calmed it down lately quite a bit but I was drinking a bottle of Wray & nephew overproof rum in pretty much one sitting and that 63% pretty much double fireball.
I won’t pretend it was healthy or wise but yeah I’m alive and I did that a lot.
Depends on tolerance. I would do this with no issues, but it’s a bit of a waste for me to drink it straight. I like Fireball with fiery ginger beer; they mix really well.

Will send people to Tor more than likely and that’s all I think it achieves, so bit of an own goal.

My thinking is Android refuses to install things of a lower version number generally so if play services was higher it might refuse updates.
Doesn’t solve the likely needing root to patch it of course and if you have that you might as well just replace it with Micro G or similar.

I was thinking if it would be possible to to patch the version number to years in the future to try and stop the dodgy update.
No clue if such a thing would work just idle thoughts really.

My mum did the same thing she stopped when I used the £20 note to buy sweets, that was a lot of sweets back then.

For single use it’s not a bad idea honestly but I can’t imagine they would carry much and things like the wind might play a big factor.

I use dnscrypt for the same reason, it prevents the Isp hijacking it which I believe they can.do even with private dns now.

Let’s hope they both bankrupt the other.
I really think it’s artificial sweeteners but I also think they just taste horrible.

Interesting I was reading they can’t replace all their damaged radars anymore either because China is the only real supplier of Gallium and more than a bit annoyed with them.
All this tarrif and insulting everyone business is probably going to bite them back hard and for a long long time.

Never used them and never will, so as far as I concerned nothing of value is lost.

These devices have replaced play services with things like micro g, so yes they will run pretty much any android app even Google ones would work but that would be defeating the purpose.
I have a soft spot for the first two, but that’s mainly because I can play them on my phone and the controls actually aren’t awful like most mobile games.
