2·15 days agoI know this is an old comment but for anyone in the future that’s wondering, I’m happy to say the Dell Pen does work out of the box on Mint. I tested with Krita and even the pressure sensitivity works perfectly!

The software works well and the code is viewable. That’s what’s important to me.

01·2 months agoI couldn’t agree more. People are like, “Oh I would totally use an alternative phone/OS and/or degoogle… but mah baaanking app!! I shall give up all security, privacy and lick corporate boots for my baaanking app!”
I have accounts with nearly a dozen banks. I have zero banking apps on my phone. It’s had zero impact on my life. Chase Bank needed a phone call to switch 2FA to another method. That was it. My phone’s browser works fine.
YMMV in other countries.

the cloudsomebody elses computer.

And repeat all this horseshit for 50 other things that should be a simple toggle or that way by default.
My only regret is waiting so long to switch to linux. It’s like leaving an abusive spouse for that sweet young thing you’d been crushing on.
