That kinda looks like a lot of cars not on the road. Sure, they should have designated drop off and pick up locations so you don’t get this mess. However, I think these lime bikes are providing an alternative option to solo drivers.

2·2 months agoI only met people at the whole foods hot bar… over a pound of food = wealthy less than a pound of food /= wealthy. Getting that extra $3 avocado on your burger or sandwich at a restaurant = wealthy. No one’s going to tell you but there will be signs
I bet the next thing we’d be fighting for is the ability for an average person to afford that pill. I mean … Insurance companies aren’t in the business of healing people after all. Why can’t you think about the shareholders!!!

4·3 months agoI highly doubt an AI agent that’s ready to suggest nuking everyone would make anything but the most extreme decisions to make more money. Like laughably evil shit like sending contaminated baby formula to 3rd world countries or knocking down governments to sell more bananas or reducing quality ingredients to the bare minimum that still technically qualifies as food… Oh wait I see your point now.
Preach!!! I tell everyone about enshitification and planned obsolescence. My examples are cereal and appliances… Take a look at the size of the cereal now and watch it for a few months… It won’t be the same when you look again but the price will be. Or appliances, you find the heating element goes out quickly on your dryer and replacement is really difficult. Maybe your phone slowed down even though you’ve done nothing different to it than surf the web.
But when I talk about these I feel so old.
So there’s this weed picker tool I use that’s at the end of a long stick where the grab motion is done by stepping on the lever then rocking the stick back and forth. It’s too save my knees and back over the course of the lawn. My wife used to make fun of me calling it my grandpa stick but then she used it and apologized.
