Depends on where you’re from. In my country, dubbing in the native language rarely happens unless it’s a kids movie.

Good to know! I haven’t picked it up yet, because I often end up somewhat disappointed in adaptations of these types of manga.

Subs will be a turn-off for a lot of people, that’s for nerds.
If you’re used to media in your own language, I suppose so

Changed my life is a bit much maybe, but Hibike! Euphonium means a lot to me

Is this anime original? I thought the story was concluded.
Anyway, I hope Kurumi is in it, she’s the only actually interesting character and made the last couple of seasons bearable.

I’ve not come across that yet and my Bluray player isn’t connected to the internet.

Has to have a dub. Someone who does not watch anime is not going to read subs.
Why not? It’s how many people started, no?

I wouldn’t recommend it as a first anime to most, but I introduced a friend to anime with Spice & Wolf

I’m pretty sure that meme has died out a looong time ago thankfully

As much as I love Martian, I had to go with Hunting Soul. Mirage was close too

Same! Hunting Soul is too good. Probably the most Eurovision-like song too, along with Creepy Nuts

No longer necessary, it worked this time! Thanks though!

The link is stuck loading for me unfortunately (Firefox and Vivaldi)

Fuck, this was a hard watch (in a good way)

Sure, Asa’s team basically executed every adult in the village, but it feels like she had reasons we just don’t know yet.
There better be a damn good reason, like the entire village were genocidal maniacs or something, because no other reason seems reasonable here.

I have a similar opinion. I’m not gonna go and sympathise/empathise with mass murderers, but it feels like they want us to.
Also, they’re, including the good guys, pretty easygoing about the whole thing, which doesn’t sit right with me either.
I hope there are good reasons, because right now it just feels like shonen logic.

Increasing work output is the worst way to go about this.

just because it exists does not mean it’s prevalent
You said “almost no anime”. 20 examples is already quite a lot and not exhaustive, some of them being pretty big names. That sounds pretty prevalent to me, even if it’s not the vast majority.
I’m saying that this is not even close to "the greatest sin in anime
Oh that I totally agree with. I wouldn’t even call it a sin.

Almost no anime do this
They do though. The most common one is checkered/plaid clothing. There’s even a TV Tropes page on it. In some cases like Gankutsuou it’s stylistic, but it is often a shortcut. I don’t really have a problem with it though.
National? Where?
