That would be lovely.

That would be lovely.

It was great when it was a small pod of your close friends sharing stuff together.
But now it’s just an algorithm that shows you what you want to see by people pushing products and flat out lying. It’s done. It needs to go away.

There’s also a spectrum for sub guys. From what I’d like to call ‘compliant’ to ‘doormat.’
Some want a guy who’s confident, strong, typical male traits, but lets her decide things and pick stuff. Other side of that is the ones who want to be property.
Idk. Lining shit up in the kink spaces is so damned hard that it’s harder than finding even regular relationships.

Social media needs to go away, fully. Not just for kids.

I have a degree in political science and film production, and I’m a stuntman.
The world sucks right now for employment you might as well take a shot at a dream job because you never know what happens!

Spoken like a technozealot.
Sure I’ll just toss the corpo trash that’s left on the sidewalks all over hollywood into the street.

For sure dude! Action is a fun little space to be in for entertainment, happy to share some of the little that I know about it!

Hey guys I am a stunt guy so I can give you an answer to this!
So, it like, depends on the kind of fall that’s needed! The technique for falling down stairs like, where Rocky runs up the steps, or where John Wick falls down the stairs a billion times in Wick 4 are different than if you’re falling down something smaller like a set from a house, or even narrower.
A big part of it is wearing the correct protection when doing the stunt. We have everything from insert pads like these bad boys (https://store.afstunts.com/products/action-factory-polymer-insert-pad-2-0) to full on tactical armor. The latter being great as you can wear both an insert and tactical knee pads and you’re just covered in protection on your hard points.
But back to the narrow vs wide stair fall!
So for a wide stair you literally can lay along the steps, and just ‘roll’ down the steps! You keep your hands to your chest and kind of put your elbows into the L shaped nook of the stair, and place your way down however many you need to fall. For narrow steps, it’s a little more tricky as you kind of have to ‘ping pong’ your way down the staircase, but the concept is the same. You’re just going over your head as well since you can’t fit horizontally down the steps.
The concept though is you get your sharp points (knees elbows etc) into the L part of the step, and kind of control your fall down the steps however you need production to have you fall. You also are generally doing this at a pretty controlled rate. They can speed it up in post-production if they want to.
Fun fact, the way stunts gets their pay is your flat rate, plus ‘bumps’ for doing individual things. So the guy who’s fighting and doing just background action will get one rate, the guy who’s on fire, getting wire pulled across the shot and lands on the hood of a car is getting extra pay for all of those extra things he needs to do.

I got it! My laptop with all my user information died, and I had to wait for a charger to get here to get back on this computer. I’ll answer this in the general thread!

Can confirm. I’ve had way more gay men try to be handsy or to try and convince me to fuck around than I’ve seen the other way around.
The scooters that clog up the sidewalks so people can’t use them?
I ride a motorcycle, and the amount of times I’ve had some fucking moron on a scooter do something erratic and almost cause a crash is way more than cars.
These things take up common spaces for people.

Semantics.
A person creates something. LMM models just blurt out an approximation of what they think might be what you want.

It’s a predictive text model. It’s not artificial intelligence.

Because all the tech bros saying AI are going to change the world are wrong. Just like they were wrong with blockchain currencies, just like they were wrong with owning images on computers. They’ll also be wrong about this.

Computers are input-output devices. You put things into a computer and it does what you tell it to do.
LMM’s do not do this they just give you a facsimile of what it believes you want.
LMM’s will not go away but their functionality is extremely limited, as has been proven by it’s failure to ‘change business forever.’
And no, ‘but the tech isn’t there’ isn’t an argument right now. This is economics. The investment for it’s current capabilities are far outsized, and there will be a massive contraction.

The amount of money dumped into ai can’t be recouped. It’s already a massive bubble.

AI is absolutely not here to stay. This kind of nonsense needs to be nipped in the bud. The capital investment for ai simply can’t be recouped without major fantastical leaps in business.
The revenue coming in is a shell game. The investment numbers simply can’t be recouped without being more expensive than actual people.
So yeah. It absolutely can go away.
this is a forum. Which, is totally different. You can’t be serious.
