What happened to people? I used to try out a new launcher every other week. Did it not long ago until I settled for Niagara. Might try out Octopi some day.

People are generally hesitant on installing apps. I know so many people, even (or especially) young ones, that buy a 1000€+ device and only ever use the pre-installed apps.

There were many good options. Now it’s just Niagara Launcher that doesn’t suck.

Edit: I see Octopi getting mentioned a lot. Might have to check that one out.

The workflow to set up some basic calculations with ranges formatted as tables is just much quicker. I believe that’s why Excel keeps winning unfortunately. I just tried doing some basic things in LibreCalc and it was very cumbersome unfortunately. At home I don’t mind this, but at work I’d be pissed if I’d lose that functionality. It would seriously hold me back.

A table in Excel will have a name that can be referenced. It will also automatically grow larger when you type in the row under the last row. You can have multiple tables within a sheet. It comes with extensive filters. In LibreCalc you can only set filters but everything else remains static. It’s literally the most used thing in Excel.

The fact that you can’t make real tables renders the software completely unusable. Tables are used in pretty much every spreadsheet.

I’m fairly often in Japan for work. They won’t touch those screens.

Also, in the last 20 years I have experienced 2 power outages. One took about 3 hours to fix, which was spooky but also very cool, the other was in January this year and lasted for about 30 minutes. It’s really not a problem.

There’s definitely something going on. We had this influx of new users posting comics for the sake of engagement in the comments. Often the content of the comic is about men vs women, woke vs dipshit etc. The accounts were then immediately deleted. It seems those are bots that are used by fascist cunts to prepare this platform for right wing fascist bullshit by dividing its user base.

I’d add pedophile to the list.

Why not Anki? Ankidroid works well and there are many great community decks for all kinds of languages (and other topics too BTW).
