I notice it because its obvious in the interface but it does not reduce my clickage. heck if the post is so bad the posters history is real bad then I just block them and that is how I keep my feed tidy. almost never have to do that though but if I want to see bad content because I want to curate my own feed. I was near sighted since I was young and it was not to big a deal but in my old age I have become near sighted and its a pita. Besides that the way I understand it you can only get lasik so many times and it does not last forever. I will get it done when I have cataract to deal with or such.

I disagree here. I would like a virtual screen that would be comfortable enough and can be used with glasses. I could watch media and play non vr games on it. also hand traking is nice for virtual inputs.

Yeah I have over 25 years and I also have had the assesment stuff although not to often and not every time. Basically I went into tech because it was a field where they wanted people and if you were sharp you could get a job. They don’t seem to have the demand they used to but I don’t see another place to pivot and honestly I don’t think I can change careers the way I did over 25 years ago.

Im a bit conflicted on this. When service is usually good and its not going as well as it should a thanks for patience is a nicety. If it keeps dragging on and become severe it becomes sort of a. Hey worry about getting work done and pairing down the que and don’t worry about apologizing for it as its gone beyond a minor inconvenience. Its time for magement to think about vouchers or something. Then also you get all the businesses now, especially with phone support, who under staff and so thanks for your patience is just business as usually as they intentionally provide poor service (not the individual people its the company that has a policy of doing it poorly)

In the aughts as an adult I was talking to an undergrad and said something about. You know a typical high school job or teenage job or such. He was like what. I was like you know the minimum wage work that is easy to get. He was like no those jobs are not easy to get and he was not able to work a job all through high school. What a wake up call that was for me on how things were going. That whole period in the aughts was when I realized we just were not trying with the environment and the economy was just rediculous, and more and more violence was ruling things.

I mean Im basically an antinatilist so its kinda a moot question for me. To me global human society has to do things waaaayyyyy better to be bringing kids into it.

this sucks because I can function at 16 now but I have to juggle things more and I know I use less than the typical power user. I could survive at at 8 but it will be a massive pain.

If it was the us I would be a bit miffed since its long standing behaviour amazon and walmart has been doing so they should go after them first rather than this niche thing.
