That part isn’t hard to imagine. Filing a false police report is a crime, and I’d say people who are willing to call the police about something like this are also probably more likely to get into a conflict with the police when they don’t do what they want.

72·22 days agoIn addition to the advanced flow we’re building free, limited distribution accounts for students and hobbyists. This allows you to share apps with a small group (up to 20 devices) without needing to provide a government-issued ID or pay a registration fee.

57·2 months agoFor anyone curious, I looked into the DDOSing, and what was done is a simple string of JavaScript was added to archive[.]today that made a background request to the blog with a randomly generated search parameter. Every time someone looked at an archive, they unknowingly sent a request to the blog under attack.

Happened to me back in highschool. Took the opportunity to take a long nap while I was being held for testing. Probably didn’t help my perception tbh.
