I’m gonna say Frieren (woa big surprise). It appeals to a lot of people, doesn’t have odd anime tropes, and has a great dub. It also has some action scenes so someone can see if they want to watch more action animes.

If they want to do this, they should focus on simultaneous dub releases, and make sure they’re high quality. Dubs being delayed means internet discussions become fractured, it kills viral posts.

Frieren S2 - writing in this season of Frieren didn’t feel as good as in S1.

I was thinking about this when the season started, but I think it’s just hard to compare against 28 episodes of season 1. Rewatching them together, I think season 2 fits in just fine.

I can’t imagine S1 having the same impact if it was only 10 episodes, ending with Aura. No Kraft, no Sein, no mirrored lotus ring, no Old Man Voll, no mage exam, no Denken, no Serie at all??

Anything to look out for? I see RE:Zero here but the first few episodes didn’t grab me at all. That might be the only isekai I’ve seen, but I don’t think the genre appeals to me.

I love Frieren, Dragon Ball everything, FMA, Outlaw Star, Death Note (yea I’m a basic bitch anime watcher lol). My friend showed me Solo Leveling recently and I hated that lol, too shallow. Been enjoying Sentenced to Be a Hero recently, haven’t seen the finale yet though. I generally don’t enjoy comedy animes (unless you count OPM).
