Making the claim that homophobes are all secretly gay downplays the harm they cause. It turns reframes it into “in-fighting” instead of a minority being oppressed/attacked.
Some politicians will be self-hating queer people who are weaponizing hate, but others will just be hateful straight people.

Baby driver was such a creepy rewatch. Everytime Kevin Spacey called the young male character by the name “baby” it made me cringe.
Maybe my wording could use some work; It didn’t mean that it would cause in-fighting, I meant that it reframes the homophobia as gay in-fighting.
