I know in the UK margins tend to be high on things like glasses and lenses but they lose money on even standard eye tests (it’s worse if they pick something wrong and need to do further investigation)

I was thinking the same, I’d like more context though, if it’s a quick throttle blip (or like if they’re driving stick and need to reverse the car up a slope) could be understandable. I kinda wonder if it’s panic at some point. Like they make a fuck up and then start going “maybe this will fix it, maybe this will fix it” and it’s just getting progressively worse but they can’t stop themselves.

I see this with my kids sometimes, without the panic, they see that they’ve messed up a line when painting and they try to fix it but they do the same thing just slightly over, rinse repeat until a 7mm line is now 30mm thick.

I’m amazed at the reaction here, I’m not sure the last time I even noticed one of these while wearing a shirt.
