No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•If you give the fae a false name which others would identify you as, can they still use that false name to control you?
3·6 days agoWell, in that case, being there are no stupid questions, it would circle back around to be relevant to this community then, no?

2·6 days agoMight not be a bad idea to specify which RPG, as there might be already a mechanical answer, or, if not, an answer probably more in line with the general vibe of the RPG you’re playing, rather than just answers relating to the wildly diverse lore/mythology of faelike creatures in general

To be more specific, American farmers vote against handouts and vote for things that ruin the economy, then beg for handouts, then go bust and blame leftists for it
As much as I am glad No Kings had so many people attend it, and I am glad for the small good it does, it barely counts as a protest.
There are no goals, no demands, no threats. It didn’t inconvenience anyone (especially not the people in charge of the country) or cause commotion in the least. It was on a saturday with predefined start and end times.
In other words, it accomplished very little other than potentially being a networking event for like minded people. If everyone who showed up to a No Kings event actually protested, things would be changing the next fucking day

31·16 days agoe/os and Sailfish are pretty popular alternative OSs (OSes? OSii?) and e/os is an android fork, with Sailfish having an android compatibility layer, so they work with standard Android apps.
Source: I use e/os.

Quick tip: the rag does NOT go into the mouth of the bottle. It goes wrapped or tied to a CLOSED bottle. If the bottle is open and the rag in the opening, you risk splashing the liquid on yourself and your friends when throwing
