Let’s say they remade the entire series but with the cast consisting of Westerners and they’re speaking English (the original one takes place in South Korea with a Korean cast with subtitles), but the thing is that the actual “Squid Game” is a Korean children’s game which is not something that resonates with US culture, so would an actual American remake really succeed or fail?

Btw: I got marked as “misbehaving” often on the stupid “behavior chart” bullshit and that got me banned from trips…
So you could make a plot where any kid that gets left behind from trips now has to murder each other…
Then you get those new immigrant kids like me just crying and like “媽媽，我而家唔想再住喺美國啦… 😭” (“Mama, I don’t wanna live in America anymore…”) then kids like the 8-year old version of me are the the first ones to die lol…
