Freedom of speech is a privilege that Taiwan citizens gets to enjoy everyday. Student visa who threatens the sovereignty of our nation does not enjoy that privilege.

I dont understand how people are so anti-deportation even though it has always been a legitimate form of punishment. If you dont conform to the requirements to be in a group, you get ousted. Simple as.
If the Canadian government deported a US MAGA student for pushing Alberta separation, I’d have mixed feelings. On the one hand I’d be inclined to cheer along with my fellow anti-MAGA Canadians, on the other hand I’d be disappointed in the government for suppressing free speech.
Not to say the two situations are equivalent. Not quite yet.
