I think Sandler’s dilemma is that he can do the safe, easy thing and bring all his longtime friends, or he can do something that’s outside his usual by himself.
He doesn’t need to prove himself any more. If he wants to produce dumb comedies where he and his buddies fuck around on camera while on extended holiday somewhere nice, seems pretty baller.
