I think this is partly because bodybuilders, like culturally, are aiming for sexual appeal of a very masculine and stoic kind, which is to say that it’s not really that appealing.
To put it another way, to be sexy is to be the object of someone else’s desire, but straight men tend to think of this as damaging to their power. They both want to be objectified by women and always above them socially, which is a contradiction.
What I mean is: all men should want a fatter ass, but very few can be this honest.
You’d think this would work out if you’re gay. But no, you just get lots of attention from straight guys…
