If this was for a GP, I would agree with this stance. But a good, fitting and competent mental health professional can be harder to find.

And to piggy back this question: what alternatives do you have and are they actually viable?

I hate this superiority complex that is growing here. Like don’t just drop something like this, take like 20 seconds to explain why.
This is clearly a person who just wanted friendly interaction and the whole site shits on them without any meaningful explanation.
To OP: There appears to be a consensus that the app is basically spyware as most conversations lack encryption, meaning anyone can read your messages and see your interactions. I don’t use it however, so I cannot comment further.

If you are physically and socially active, but still don’t feel self-value and have tried the standard things (e.g. taking a break, eating well etc) then maybe therapy is the best option?
This is such a lame take. Like there are a shitload of legitimately fantastic community investigative journalists fighting to make a difference, but you’d rather shit on them too because Rupert Murdoch exists.

Project and general management is, as I am acutely learning more frequently as time goes on, not easy for some people.

My life was better before I looked up and saw what MGTOW was :).
OP didn’t state this clearly, but I went and looked. The app is not for replacing consults, only billing etc. so I’d put it in the “annoying, but not world ending” category.
