The ol “my life experience is universal” argument I see. I did move, everything I own fits into a backpack and a suitcase. I’m in this tiny ass town because it is where I could get a visa because I’m fleeing the US before they execute my trans ass. If I leave now we’re talking flushing literally tens of thousands usd down the drain on the off chance I manage to find another way to get a visa somewhere else.

So as far as dating goes again I’d love to know what the correct way is if not apps, and I’m vetoing “risk my life” options like moving.

I live in a tiny ass town where the only two ways people socialize with strangers is drinking and maybe gambling and even then this is not a very social area. I am a currently sober alcoholic and even if I liked gambling I don’t have the money for it. Thoughts on how I can date ‘correctly’?

I joined a random Deep Rock Galactic lobby once. Usually I host them so it was odd for me join one idk why I even did that. Ended up becoming friends with one of the people in there and they’re one of the best most caring people I know. We talk almost every day now

One of my best friends I met in a DRG lobby. We don’t really even play DRG anymore, we do talk almost every day, sometimes they call and talk with me while I fall asleep (wildly different time zones). Don’t even know their name lol

After I had lower surgery they were tightly controlling the pain meds. Basically giving me minimum possible doses and not allowing anything else. Even the day after when the bolster was pulling a stitch and I was in screaming pain for hours so bad I also got an asthma attack then they confiscated my inhaler until they could clear it with the doctor. Y’all ever have coughing fits the day after getting five abdominal incisions? Fun times fun times

It has very few markings on it, I did find “pronic” etched into some of the metal. It was many years ago I pried it out of the rest of the system so I can’t give much info on it unfortunately. Yeah one of the reasons I even got into computers is because of the crazy satisfying tactile experience. And they all feel so bleh now. I spent good money building a mechanical keyboard that feels like I’m in a duel with a malfunctioning robot when I type just so I can feel something. When I turn a computer on I want it to feel like an event, I turned the machine on with intention

I have more questions about other switches if you’re down with helping me on a quest I never knew I needed.

Do you know what is that extra big red clicking clacking part called that’s feels like I’m activating the go button on a nuclear jet? I’m seeing toggle switch is a thing but those mostly look more like the little metal thingies you flip a bunch of when your spaceship is blaring alarms and you need to get all the lights to stop blinking. Also why does it have 6 wires but only 4 prongs? (Edit to add I think it might be a chilly 3041 or similar? Still don’t know what to call the components or how to find the container it is in so it is in the box and not sticking way out when attached to a thing)

It had two outlets and iirc (been a while) the switches each controlled one outlet. What is going on here why are they connected to each other?

One of the problems is that it is the co trol panel outside the washing room to get I to the room not the actual machine itself. It’s a blank box but maybe I could dig into the menus to find something or contact the landlords for more info?
